Dehumidifier works great! The fan is a bit noisy, but the dehumidifier in our back room can be turned off. We hope that in 15 years this model will last longer than our previous 5 Frigidaire models. Updated May 2021. This unit was used for approximately 3 months from June to August 2020 and performed as you would expect in a normal, well maintained and clean basement. It has been properly stored over the winter months and recently reconnected to the grid in preparation for Spring 2021. It didn't start and didn't work. Waykar immediately contacted warranty service. The product comes with a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee. All requests for information, including videos, were granted. First we were told that the device will be replaced free of charge under warranty. About a day later, we were told that Revain's 30-day warranty had expired. We have also been instructed that in order to process a claim, we must ship a device that weighs over 100 pounds, at our expense, to a collection point in California for inspection in order to process a warranty claim. This is unacceptable! This is a high-priced device that failed prematurely. 6/15/21UpdateGood news!
