I read the reviews and gave it a try anyway and like many others found that this product does not maintain accurate temperatures. I bought it for my downstairs fridge and freezer. There is a place to set high and low tolerances, but it didn't show my settings, other random temperatures did. I kept my regular thermometer in the fridge and freezer. The alarm went off several times to indicate a temperature change and when I went to the instrument the temperature was fine and within the tolerance I had set in ORIA. I, like others, found that when two sensors were near the receiver, all three read different room temperatures. I thought I could work with it, but this week has been frustrating and hasn't given me the peace of mind I was looking for. That's a good idea, but it doesn't work.
