Crucial Gadget! the best of thermometers and timers

I've only used it for a weekend but so far so good. In my old caravan I put one sensor in the freezer and the other in the fridge. The touch sensors connect flawlessly to the reader unit and the unit can stand on the counter, hang on the wall or attach directly to the fridge with 4 magnets. Very convenient for the price!

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Neutral

One sensor in the fridge the other in the freezer

I use this in an RV to give a continuous report of the fridge running (AC, Propane, DC) and a second wireless sensor is present included in the car freezer that works continuously. I've placed the display unit where it's most convenient - on the dashboard when we're driving and in the kitchen when we're stopping - so we can see the temperature without opening any of the units and the ambient temperature, including historical ones highs and lows. I checked the accuracy on my Samsung home fridge…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Can't remember

Replace AAA battery every 7 days, do not buy

. I replace 2-AAA every 7 days. It gets very boring in just 4 days. If you look at it horizontally with the naked eye, you cannot see the number. If you look at it from an angle, it's almost invisible. If I could change the refresh time to reduce battery drain I would get a different one. AA battery on the side of the sensor in the fridge. I don't have to swap yet.

Pros
  • . Pretty packaging
Cons
  • . Minor problems

Doesn't hold exact temperature. i give it back

I read the reviews and gave it a try anyway and like many others found that this product does not maintain accurate temperatures. I bought it for my downstairs fridge and freezer. There is a place to set high and low tolerances, but it didn't show my settings, other random temperatures did. I kept my regular thermometer in the fridge and freezer. The alarm went off several times to indicate a temperature change and when I went to the instrument the temperature was fine and within the tolerance…

This is a fridge/freezer thermometer with an alarm function that will warn you when the temperature reaches the danger zone. It already saved $100 on groceries in the first week of use when the garage freezer was accidentally left open. (The reason we bought this item was due to similar bugs in the past and it actually works). We tried another brand (accurite) and found that it lost connection to the transmitters the further away it went. The Oria type has a very good range even through metal…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Modern

Works but not for what I need.

These work and the alarm can be heard in a room. However, I bought 2 hoping to use the first in the kitchen and the second for the freezer in the garage. But they're not paired in any way, and there are no DIP switches to control which one interacts with which base unit. They don't react based on proximity, so unless they're more than 300 feet apart, you can't move them in hopes of coordinating their observation. There doesn't seem to be any logic to how the base units decide which sensors to…

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • weak

I ordered this fridge thermometer and it was not working properly. I thought maybe I just got a bad one so I sent it back and ordered another one. Again he had the same two problems. I am sending this second one back and will be looking for another model. Two problems: 1) I was able to set the maximum and minimum temperatures and these temperatures seemed to be saved, but the display showed the wrong temperatures. For example, in setup mode, if I set the max temp to 44, that temp seemed to be…
