Review on ORIA Wireless Refrigerator Thermometer with 2 Sensors: Audible Alarm, Min/Max Display, LCD - Ideal for Home & Restaurants by Kristen Wheeler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works but not for what I need.

These work and the alarm can be heard in a room. However, I bought 2 hoping to use the first in the kitchen and the second for the freezer in the garage. But they're not paired in any way, and there are no DIP switches to control which one interacts with which base unit. They don't react based on proximity, so unless they're more than 300 feet apart, you can't move them in hopes of coordinating their observation. There doesn't seem to be any logic to how the base units decide which sensors to monitor, they will randomly switch from observing one to observing the other. Update: The company refunded the price of one of the devices even though I didn't request it. I will wait until they make a new unit that can be used with other units in the same house or have more sensors connected to the same controller and when this new unit comes out I will definitely get one. Thanks to the company's efforts, I raised my rating by one star.
