I use this in an RV to give a continuous report of the fridge running (AC, Propane, DC) and a second wireless sensor is present included in the car freezer that works continuously. I've placed the display unit where it's most convenient - on the dashboard when we're driving and in the kitchen when we're stopping - so we can see the temperature without opening any of the units and the ambient temperature, including historical ones highs and lows. I checked the accuracy on my Samsung home fridge - the readings matched.
