Review on ๐Ÿ’ช High-Quality Front Hood Struts for Acura TL 2006-2008 - Gas Prop Shocks (2pcs) by Jason Franco

Yes, you can do it yourself! Install in a minute. Don't pay anyone more than $100!

I have a little used 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD that had a lift strut failure about 6 months ago. I pretty much ignored the situation until I had to start my wife's car (as she was idle so much during our Covid days). I used a brick to hold the hood slightly open to get through the bump, but that was the final straw! I got an offer from a retailer for just under $200 so I looked around and found this product. I'm not an auto repair expert - I can fix an apartment, change a car battery and other small things, but that's about it. Replacing those struts was the easiest thing I've ever done. Just go to YouTube and watch a few videos and you're good to go - it took me about a minute to complete the process. Simply pry the old ones up slightly with a flathead screwdriver and press the new ones into place. I just installed them so I don't know how well they will work in a few months but they fit perfectly and are just what I needed!
