First of all I have installed many cat doors over the years. This time two of these doors were purchased for use in an outdoor cat shelter. Entry/Exit/Exit. The door does not come with a template. I have provided a photo of the back of the box as well as a size comparison. The problem, however, is that there must be a round cut-out for the lock and a hole for the magnet. The flat edge of the lock snaps to the bottom of the doors prior to installation, preventing the door from swinging freely in and out when unlocked. To do this, file a flat edge on both doors. As we moved forward, and worse, we couldn't use the inside of the door in the dugout. The plastic frame is quite soft and the edges don't match or nest together so only the outside of the door can be used which also makes it weather resistant. After archiving and other adjustments, I cannot return them. Now I buy other doors that have been used successfully before.
