Review on Deluxe Plastic Cat 🐈 Platforms - Set of 3 by Tropingzz Cece

We bought these shelves after reading reports of problems with them. We had little choice as we couldn't make our own and couldn't find anything affordable. I paid $36 for a set of 3 in an open box. I find the full price absolutely ridiculous, especially since they have issues. Pros: - sturdy metal frame, very unlikely to ever break - shelf size is big enough for a big cat to stretch out - easy to clean CONS: - full price expensive in my opinion (can't find cheaper anywhere, not even on eBay) - Hooks will NOT stay attached to a cage - VERY DANGEROUS! RECOMMENDED: Do not use these shelves without attaching them to the cage. In fact, if (when) the shelf falls, it will be severe enough to seriously or possibly fatally injure kittens, possibly even an adult human. It was easy enough to do but my family of three worked together. I think 1 person could do it, just be patient. We put our cage upside down on the floor and did it like this. We used these http://amzn.com/B00004WLJ9 to attach each corner to the cage (you can also find black ties if you'd like). Attach them to the corners of the shelf frame, NOT the hooks. NOTE: We don't have a ProSelect cage, but they will still fit. MEASURE your cage before ordering. We used 3 shelves to convert our large cage into 2 smaller cages. One of the shelves was supposed to overlap the other a bit, but that didn't change anything and the cats didn't care. :)
