Why would a company known for quality German craftsmanship think they could do the same for a fraction of the cost in a country of cheap coins? out? These clamps may seem like a great idea, but they literally fall apart in your hands, the seals barely stay in place, and you're guaranteed to find them in the store if they fall off. Even their standard spring clamps have pads that are barely attached to the device and never come off when you actually try to use them. In other words, they reliably fail. Is this the new Bessey reliability we should be expecting? If I wanted a cheap imitation of quality, I would not order a BESSEY product at 3 times the price of an imitation just to get a cheap Chinese imitation. Let's hope this isn't the start of a trend for BESSEY. Greed rarely leads to a good reputation or a successful product. I would give them up and go to a local clearinghouse that has cheap knockoffs, but at knockoffs, not BESSEY prices. It's okay if you don't plan on using them. BESSEY and CHINA should not be in the same sentence.
