Leeliya 5 Port USB 3.0 Expansion Card

Pros: - Good price discount but this card was bought mainly for the extra USB 3.0 Type-C ports. The newer Gigabyte GA-990FX gaming mobo has two Version 3.1 ports built in, Gen 2 Type A and C, but they needed these 3.0 ports for occasional cell phone data transfers and to migrate older USB 2.0 hardware to the newer USB 3.0 technology. So far this addition to the card has worked as expected with no hiccups, for now it's very nice - the small card fits comfortably in the first PCIe 1x slot between the graphics card and the rear exhaust fan without interfering with the tower's internal airflow. Read many professional reviews about add-in cards. Many suggest using cards with SATA power cables instead of self-powered devices to ensure all connected devices are properly powered. This is a card with a PCIe 1x slot, but it is also compatible with any 4x, 8x or 16x slot. The included SATA/Molex power cables in my system are long enough to connect to the modular power cables. Do not remember the mention of the LED light bulb in the seller's advertisement and assume that it can be erased by touching the ink of a felt-tip pen. Other thoughts: Just restored a gigabyte system with windows 8.1, wanted to document a reinstall of drivers in case of emergency. ConflictsGigabyte Mobo uses Via-Labs VL805 drivers for USB ports. Also added: Atech Blackbird MX-1 USB 3.1 Gen 2, dual port expansion card, Asmedia 1143 3.1 Extensible Host Driver chipset installed, version 1.16.28.1, no conflict reported. This is a short PCIe 4x card installed in a full-size slot. Finally installed Leeliya card with five USB 3.0 ports, Fresco Logic MS version 6.3.9600.17797 chipset installed, USB 3.0 upgradeable drivers, no conflicts reported in Device Manager. All legacy USB 2.0 hardware has been moved. To remove this Leeliya card from mobile devices, they include Canon flatbed scanners, HP All-in-One Printer 6500A and Canon Pixma TS6020 printer. Various functions (printing, copying, scanning, SD card reading) tested on all hardware, everything works normally
