Then unscrew the windshield linkage on the motorcycle, put the mirror linkage through the round hole of the smaller sheet metal, tighten the mirror linkage again if necessary. Then attach the shield to the slotted plate as required, on each correct side, with the washer and screw on the same side; align/adjust and tighten. Basically.
