Don't believe the bad reviews! Great for RVs.

Okay so I ordered 2 of these shelves to put in my RV bedroom closets. I first looked at the instructions and understood how I would proceed. The shelves were the same width as the cabinets so I had to build the shelves inside the cabinets. I started by installing the bottom shelf on the four legs of the base. Plastic clips easily snap into grooves in 1" increments. Simply snap the clip in place and move it up or down where you like and it will snap into the groove. Do this with all four legs, then stand the shelf up and lightly tap each corner with your hand. I then added the next legs (which I lightly tapped with light hammer blows) and repeated the process with the clips and shelves. I was about to add a third set of legs but noticed they were all about an inch from the top of the cabinet. This would prevent me from assembling the rest of the shelf. So I had to improvise. I used my saw and cut off about 6 inches from the end of each leg. Then I put a plastic cap on the legs that I had just cut off and hammered. I finished the assembly and moved the shelf to the back of the cabinet. Okay, assembly took about 20 minutes. Then I went to the other side to assemble the second shelf. I asked my wife what time it was to know the exact assembly time. The second shelf took me a whopping 12 minutes. The description says 10 minutes so having cut my legs off and having to work in a very limited space I would say that is a generous amount of time. I am very happy with these shelves. They look beautiful and are well designed. I like the ledge on the shelf to keep items from falling off. The shelves are perfect for the closet. I can't understand why some people expect a shelf to be super strong in such a small area. This is a tall, narrow and lightweight shelf. It won't be as stable as a wide bookshelf. I have to say that this shelf is possibly the easiest shelf I have ever assembled. You literally just squeeze them together. I suppose my dog could put this shelf together without too much trouble. Now I have to say that it would have taken her longer because she didn't have opposable thumbs and such. So don't go to your local Revain website and click on this winner.
