This cover has given our old, second-hand, moved many times around the country, child- and pet-surviving loveseat a second chance at life!We had been looking at new loveseats, but since we still have pets and small (grand)children around, we were hesitant to introduce anything new at this point. And structurally the loveseat is remarkably sturdy. It just looked awful no matter how hard I tried to keep it clean.Enter this cover! It fits absolutely perfectly. Yes, you can tell it’s a cover if you’re looking for that detail. But trust me, it looks WAY better than the original—and it’s washable! Sooo soft, too. I was a little worried about the "plushness” of it as we have cats with claws, but we’ve had no pulls in the fabric to date. I can’t speak to water resistance as fortunately we haven’t had any major incidents, but in addition to the lining in the cover I also placed soft waterproof mattress pads on the cushions prior to putting the cover on.We love this cover and plan to get another for when this one’s in the wash or if we want to change the color!
