This is the best mattress topper I have ever used and I have tried many. I have three huge dogs that love to wallow in the mud and then straight into my bed. I bought a new and expensive mattress and was in dire need of a good mattress protector. All the others I've tried are either uncomfortable and noisy or don't work in the waterproof department. I've also had many covers where either a.) the zipper ripped (if it covered the entire mattress) b) the stitching came apart on the part that runs down the sides c.) didn't stay in place the mattress topper made all these problems easier! Not only does it always stay in place, it's very comfortable to sleep on (under the covers of course) and has been a lifesaver for my mattress! Of course, it's not fully waterproof. If you pour a bucket of liquid on it and leave it there, it will eventually soak. If not washed properly, it also loses some of its waterproof properties. But overall, it has saved my mattress from lots of wet, dirty paws, puppy pee, dog puke, and numerous spilled drinks. I'm here to buy another one, not because of a product malfunction, but because one of my dogs decided to use it as a chew toy (don't ask). So now there are holes in it - not the fault of the product itself. I am VERY impressed and am buying one for every bed in my house. The quality far outweighs the price which is surprising as most of the $100 protectors I've bought are pure junk!
