Look for more playsets

I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. It's not like many years ago. Kid Kraft has to live up to their standards as there's no shortage of newer companies offering higher quality toys. I bought this set for my nephew over 10 years ago and have very fond memories of playing with it. Later, my firstborn loved to play with the set while he was with his cousins. The playhouse was solid when I picked it up and set it up and it didn't wobble. When it outgrew this set, my sister kept it in her garage for a while and then threw it away. I wish I had taken it, it was a lot more stable (even after years of playing) than the junk I recently bought for my 2 year old son. Bad quality and even worse quality control. The decals scratch and peel easily at the corners, the screws are loose causing the house to shake, the doorknobs could not be fitted as the screws were too short, the rod was too long so I had to make some adjustments to fit it to adjust. As a bonus, I got black long hair taped to the playset bed, just disgusting. I should have taken them apart and sent them back but I foolishly left them as my son loves to play with them. I'm thinking of gluing all the pieces together and using a mod podge to make the finishes last longer. At the moment I do not recommend this product. Avoid the frustration I'm dealing with and the extra steps and money to back up this pathetic playset excuse.
