Used it for the first time yesterday on our 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.8 liter V-8 engine. I was under the impression that it was a special tool for removing my pilot bearing. The 3 arms were so loose they moved everywhere so I glued them together to try and keep them in place. The device was too big to fit through my bearing so I had to grind down all the levers a bit to get it so I could hammer it into the bearing. With the flywheel removed, it was not possible to completely remove the bearing because the puller ran out of stroke, requiring me to adjust each of the two base arms relative to the crankshaft. Those levers and the o-rings that hold them kept falling off when trying to align everything. Very disappointed with the product.
