While this mouse in general is fine, I wanted to add a few comments that might assist prospective buyers and provide feedback to the manufacturer. I cannot speak to the long term value from an ergonomic standpoint however it's overall quality seems good.First, it is larger than most standard mice and as such is a little cumbersome to move around. Additionally although the layout is fine for the most part, my hand is slightly smaller than average so I had a difficult time consistently orienting my index finger over the left button. As a result I always seemed to depress the bottom 25% of the button which required more fingertip pressure. In my opinion this device could be significantly improved in one of two ways. First release a software update that permits one of the thumb buttons to be reassigned as the left-click. Second redesign the product as a trackball rather than a mouse.Since I never could get the hang of it, I modified my old wireless trackball to be more ergonomic by taping a wedge of foam to the bottom. This rotated everything about 45 degrees to the right and seems to have resolved my problem (see attached photos).
