Review on 🐠 Medium-Sized Floating Aquarium Log by Zoo Med by Vanesa Williams

The cichlids love it! in Aquarium Decor

I have a large and a medium sized floating log, there is an amazing difference in size between them, but cichlids love both, almost always they have a cichlid in at least one log. There is no established owner yet, but both dominant and more passive cichlids and even Oscars use logs, a great way to add a few extra hiding spots in an area of the tank that isn't being used as well. Update: The logs have been in my aquarium for about 2 weeks now and the large log is being used a lot more than the medium which I wasn't expecting. Most of my cichlids are 3.5 to 6 inches long but they seem to prefer a larger tree trunk as there are fish in there almost all the time. My Oscar, about 8 inches long, actually fits in a large log and takes over most nights. He doesn't have enough room to turn around in the tree trunk and he's barely tall enough, but he spends most of his nights there. Definitely recommend a large log if you have decent sized cichlids, but make sure it will fit in your aquarium. I'm 60 inches and large and medium stems fit well, anything too small and I'm concerned.
