Bought many heaters and many are just plain bad. It doesn't matter whether it's an unnamed Chinese company or a brand like Eheim. They all died, and some of them pretty quickly. That's the problem of the last 5-10 years. All of my old heaters still work, but anything that was 10 years old basically lasts 1-2 years. I use this in my reef aquarium. I like that the display is not in the aquarium, disturbs the fish at night and my view at all times. I put it under the tank in the stand, attached to the back wall. It's easy to see. It seems very fast and very consistent. The best heater is the one you set and forget. It's time for now.
