Really liked these bulbs. The design matched the decor in my bedroom and was perfect for my sconces above the bed, but the color was completely wrong. The online description said it was a warm color but bright enough to bring out the colors of everything else around him, but the "warm color" was white with a slight hint of yellow and made everything around himself Aggressively bright at the lowest dimming level. I really liked the design of the bulb and didn't want to waste it, so I decided to try it in a living room with a traditional base and lampshade (beige outside is white inside), but this time the bulb gave everything a greenish tint. . Tried again in a smaller room with a different traditional lamp. same problem with color. FINALLY I gave in and bought a slightly more expensive lamp from Target (2 pack) with amber glass, same design and feel and they gave me the warm tone I was looking for all along. It's a shame I paid the same price in store for 3 lightbulbs less, but I needed something now and it was worth it to get the look I wanted.
