Review on Wireless Transmission Low Latency Monitoring Transmitter by Johnny Snyder

I had doubts about the claimed range of this system as it doesn't have external antennas. They claim there are internal antennas and based on the results I've received I'm inclined to believe them. I installed the transmitter in my studio which is a converted bedroom in my two story home. To test the range, I left the studio, closed the door, went down the stairs and out the front door of my home, closing the wooden door behind me. Surprisingly, I still had a signal. The signal strength barely showed a bar, but I still had a consistent feed. Pretty impressive. It seems to handle 1080p 60fps, 30fps, and 24fps with no issues. It also did a good job of transmitting my 4k24fps signal by converting it to a 1080p signal to the receiver. However, it doesn't seem capable of handling a 4k60fps stream by converting it to a 1080p signal, but given the price I really wasn't expecting that. They claim they are quiet and I definitely didn't hear any noise. There are vents in the case, but to be honest I can't say there are fans in these devices at all. I assume there are fans like most other brands but I just haven't heard them. For the price it's a robust system, especially considering you also have SDI. Latency is about the same as the Mars 300. Keep in mind that most of the latency you'll see is due to using HDMI connections. HDMI has an internal delay in the system. By using SDI, latency is greatly reduced. Overall I'm very happy with this setup. This is a great option for a budget setup. Nothing impresses a customer more than the ability to provide their own wireless monitor setup. Combine this with something like the Feelworld Lut 7 Pro and you can just attach the receiver to the back of your monitor to power it and have a nice compact setup.
