Not sure if anyone is up to

I used these pages with their post for a full suspension frame. The base frame worked pretty well, but these sides didn't work. I bought Thule rack extenders to keep the panniers further back and not hit my heels (big feet) when pedaling. However, Thule never bothered to document that you can only use the sides or extensions, not both, so they were a $10 waste. Luckily, my heels didn't hit the high-quality Ortlieb baskets, which lived up to their reputation. Thank god I believed the bad reviews about Thule panniers and gave them up. These side braces include a clip that _should_ connect the bottom of the side brace to the leg of the main brace, but it didn't occur to them that depending on the geometry of the braces, there wouldn't be anything for the clip to clamp either. So my two side carriers were floating in open space and nothing was stopping them from falling off the bike or tipping toward the rear wheel under the weight of the saddlebags. Obviously nobody at Thule has ever tried to do this with more than one or two bikes. However, I used the clamp on the base post on the side for support and zipped the front rails to the seatstays on each side. This kept the front of the side panels from getting too close to the wheel or falling out in rough terrain. The back of each side was still unsupported and leaned toward the wheel, but luckily the path was smooth enough for me to get through. If it had been rough I suspect the beads would have cut into the wheel. I could probably stick a stick between the two sides at the back, but there would be a risk of the rear suspension deflecting enough for the rear wheel to hit what I put in there to decouple the two sides. The whole Thule system is pretty poorly made, but if you have a bike with rear suspension this is the only rack that will work at all now that the OMM doesn't work anymore.
