Lightweight plastic failed after 3 days of use

Purchased to fit the Thule Pack-n-Pedal Tour rear mount. Embark on a 21-day bike tour. I was carrying 30 pounds on my back (Thule max weight is 50 pounds). The lightweight plastic frame burst on one side on day 3. On the 7th day the other side ruptured. I lightened the load on the back and secured it with a combination of pointed green sticks and duct tape. Thule's description of "lightweight plastic" best describes this product. If you use them, have a backup plan, be prepared to do trailโ€ฆ

Terrible design and incredibly flimsy

The instructions were very bare and didn't show how to attach the straps to the mounts causing a lot of unnecessary frustration. After finally getting him on my bike and packing about 15 pounds of touring gear onto a Thule pannier, I left. for at least a few blocks. Then a cheap plastic clip broke. I decided not to return it as I had spent about 2 hours loading it onto my bike and secured it with a zip tie which held up pretty well. pulled the fragile and flexible frame to my tire which started

just what you need

So, I've blasted into the world of e-bikes full throttle and am having a lot of fun, but I'm still a beginner. The first problem I had to solve was where to put the battery. After a failed experiment with a product that will not stand the test of time, I finally bought a Thule Tour Rack and while I think this rack is overpriced, it does what I need. Then I ended up with this rack that could have had a battery and a set of cases. It seemed silly not to take advantage of this, so I bought a pairโ€ฆ

Not sure if anyone is up to

I used these pages with their post for a full suspension frame. The base frame worked pretty well, but these sides didn't work. I bought Thule rack extenders to keep the panniers further back and not hit my heels (big feet) when pedaling. However, Thule never bothered to document that you can only use the sides or extensions, not both, so they were a $10 waste. Luckily, my heels didn't hit the high-quality Ortlieb baskets, which lived up to their reputation. Thank god I believed the bad reviews
