This was the perfect weight for me. I have severe arthritis in my feet and a pillow is essential, but the Florida weather calls for socks that aren't too hot. Thorlo is perfect for my use. I was NOT expecting the cuff to be so high so my runner/walker tan will be even more freaky than usual. im laughing. No, I will alternate them with other Thorlos pairs and the tan line will not be visible. In terms of value for money you have to consider that they wear out like stainless steel and you don't have to replace them anytime soon, they literally cost a penny to wear.
