To be honest I don't know how to rate them. I don't think the average person knows what Socket 1157 is, let alone what to do with it. I'm making LED switches in a custom hot rod. The sockets themselves are good, but the wiring is very poorly made. I would prefer them to be cheap and take my time wiring and properly insulating them. I still don't know if I saved time using these GM vehicles instead of mugging GM vehicles at my local junkyard. A bit of liquid tape, solder, and all-weather glue is all you need to make them work. Otherwise they will twist and short out when you insert the bulb. Solder the ground to the spring, apply liquid tape to protect the positive terminals, then glue to the board.
