Out of 4 in the order, 1 closed as soon as I poured juice on it causing the wires to smoke. The other had only one live wire. I just throw them all away and order another item from a different seller. Be very careful to test them when using them.

I used these brake light adapters for a standard turn signal. The only problem was that the lamp contacts moved when the lamp was installed. Adapter wall that grounded the adapter. It's a blown brake light fuse. I was finally able to install the lamp without shorting it out. The contacts of the adapter lamp should not move.

To be honest I don't know how to rate them. I don't think the average person knows what Socket 1157 is, let alone what to do with it. I'm making LED switches in a custom hot rod. The sockets themselves are good, but the wiring is very poorly made. I would prefer them to be cheap and take my time wiring and properly insulating them. The parts are good quality and most of the finishing is great, but one downside was the white insulating material that surrounds all the wires at the base of the socket. The insulator on three of the four assemblies was relocated and the conductors were shorted to base ground.
