The only thing it has is the shine.
I have been experimenting with this+ silicone oil from this company. Firstly, the colors are very difficult to mix with it. I have used Liquitex bases AND Liquitex acrylics and BOTH had color separation issues before adding silicone oil. I also had problems with my fillings, which cracked insanely when drying. No matter what kind of paint, from medium to silicone, I used, I couldn't make cells. To be honest the only thing about it is that it's a heavy shine. However, it doesn't stick well to the canvas and can be easily removed like these weird school glue bookmarks we made on pencil cases.
