Sturdy but fixed angle may not suit your setup

This is a well made, solid mount. My Garmin snaps securely into place. The basic disadvantage seems to be common to all mounts of this type: The viewing angle for the GPS device is fixed parallel to your stem shaft. If that's the right angle for you, great: it makes the job easier. But if, for example, your stem is rotated at a negative angle to lower the handlebars a bit, it means your GPS face is at that angle too. In this case, the front pole mount allows you to adjust the viewing angle.
