They seem to get so hot they're melting their own solder joints. Like in five minutes. I added two more and they made a commute to and from work tonight. There are six of these in the pack so it seems I have a "spare" left. However, I'd probably better order a better kit soon because I don't have confidence in them. I installed them in the mirrors on my FJ Cruiser. The mirrors on this car are equipped with parking lights facing forward. I'm a mechanic with 40 years experience so I know they are compatible and should work. They are absolute rubbish.
