My quick update appears below this first review titled "Great but with significant problems". The color ordered ("algae green") looks a bit darker and duller than in the studio photos. on the website. Not critical, but I'd rather err on the lighter side of the concept. Unfortunately, there's a big problem with how the paint itself holds up. I made the mistake of taking one of these to wipe my face after brushing my teeth. One of the towels left marks that looked like traces of bleach. It's probably related to the baking soda (or some other element) in the toothpaste I've used, but that's never happened with other towels. Now I have to fold them on purpose so that the light pink streaks don't show. This may be due to the "more earth-friendly" materials/chemicals used in their manufacture, but that's obviously not the surprise you want. the other aspects are amazing. These are the towels you need if you want those heavy, thick and very soft luxury towels that many people love. I've tried several mid-range brands and read all about how different languages mean different things when you read "Turkish cotton" or "Made in Turkey" or whatever. Thing is, these are towels made to feel the way you want them. Just be careful with the color because in the end I was disappointed. Maybe you're more careful with towels than I am, in which case they could be perfect. UPDATE: After realizing what I thought were my flaws, I started seeing new cases of bleaching between washes. Bottom line, they feel very good, but they just don't hold the color. I would not buy them a second time or only buy the most neutral colors. Be careful!
