Does what it promises. UPDATE 2/3/21 Took 3 cooks

The specs state an accuracy of +-12 degrees. It is not suitable for cooking. UPDATE 2/3/21 It doesn't matter how accurate it is as long as it doesn't last a load longer than it takes to cook. I put on two Boston butts at 1:54 and woke up at 9:40 and the app said to close. I went to my kamado and the battery was dead. That said, with a full charge, obviously cheap lithium cells will run on this thing. If I had known I would have to tether it to a power source to cook for more than 7 hours, I would have bought something else. A very bad deal. My returns window closed on 01/31/20. UPDATE 2/12/21 --- After the device was fully charged and turned off the next day, it sent a message to the app that the battery was low. When I went to check it turned on, but after a few seconds it turned off due to low battery. Waste of $100
