About 4 months SIMPLE use and he died. I'm not sure why it has so much output when it literally can't handle any output. I usually use it to charge my tablet, fitbit and phone. No more than 2 things at a time. It sits next to my dressing table so I sometimes plug in my curling irons etc. I didn't plug in anything other than my hair dryer and it shuts off. Also, the red power indicator is so bright I couldn't sleep with it on. So charging things overnight wasn't an option because that's what I bought them for.
