I love this set. This is very hard work. All three layers are sewn together across the entire pot, bottom up along the sides. There is no visible break. Many pots only have a base with a clear break and the triple layer does not rise on the sides. The weight is considerable and the workmanship is excellent. I made a mistake ordering this 10 piece set. I also wanted a steamer cartridge which I ended up ordering separately for $30. This brought my set of 11 to $200. For $210 you can pick up a 14-piece set that includes a steamer basket, an extra lid for one of the pans, 2 oven mitts, and a standard 8-quart saucepan. as opposed to 6 1/2 qt. comes in a 10 piece set. I think this is the best deal. I also thought of the Tramotina set, but it's much more expensive. My only complaint is that the pots don't have quantity labels inside, but that doesn't bother me.
