The volume control did not work. It was just loud all the time. There are many buttons that children under 6 years old cannot handle. I will see how the support team will help me regarding the volume. I have a 9 year old who is having a little trouble figuring out all the different features. I'm still scratching my head after reading the instructions. The simple thing they have to use it for is great - additional things have to be learned. It's pretty neat for a kid's toy. It has a lamp function which is great when the lights are off and the kids are camping. The battery cover is easy to remove - my three year old took it off. I need to apply some tape to make sure it's in place. After all, it's fun. If only the volume control worked.
