I bought this blender to replace an expensive KitchenAid that only lasted a few years. I ultimately chose this blender because I liked the handles that came with the mixing bowl. It was the only one I could find in this price range with this option. So I decided to take a chance. And I'm so happy I did! It doesn't even compare to my KitchenAid! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but I have had many stand mixers in my life and this is by far the most powerful blender I have ever used. .Escapes literally every clump of cake and potato batter with little effort. It's extremely easy to use. It's big but thought out so as not to take up a lot of space. I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this blender that I am planning to buy it for my aunt as a housewarming gift. It's worth every penny of the $150 I paid for it!
