Review on 🚿 Enhanced Kohler K-11748-KS-NA Rite-Temp Valve with Diverter by Jesse Wells

The product looks solid and good but the parts package was missing so the fairing kit installation could not be completed. I don't know if it was a Kohler packaging error or if the item was returned and resold. There was no extension adapter (there should be three different ones in the kit) so depending on the depth of the valve to the wall surface you could install a trim kit and shower handle. We ordered all materials to be on site when our installer needed them, but the time it took to complete the valve trim installation exceeded the return date for this valve with missing parts. Our installer has made several trips to various hardware stores to find the part to no avail and will end up going to a plumbing company (all at our expense for the extra time and part). Lesson learned: Always check to make sure everything is ok. box when it arrives for the first time. This was a costly lesson as the final cost of this shower valve/trim kit would increase significantly for our project. Because the product itself is of good quality, I'm giving it 2 stars. Missing parts and the disappointment and expense that comes with it are the reason for the downgrading to 2 stars from 4 or 5 stars.
