You might think a pair of $15 shakers is high quality, but buyers beware, it would be better to find discounted shakers in the bin. When I received the shakers I washed them and let them dry. Right after opening the shakers to clean, I could see black plastic particles at the bottom of the jar. At first I thought it was leftovers from the casting process of a cheap plastic cap. But I quickly noticed that the plastic parts come loose every time I turn the shaker. See attached pictures. I have not been able to find any claims that the plastic is BPA free and also ingesting small pieces of plastic poses a health and safety hazard. I will be contacting the seller directly to resolve this issue. Revain has similar shakers that are cheaper and better built. DO NOT buy from this seller unless you want to risk eating delicious plastic.
