Where has this basket been all my life? I've long dreamed of a non-metal steamer basket that could stand in a frying pan. Now they're meant to be used with your pressure cooker, but honestly they work great in whatever pot they fit! PLUS you can wash it in the dishwasher. PLUS, it folds up so it takes up very little space in my drawer. The handles are so handy that you can easily lift and pour whatever you're steaming. There are small feet on the bottom to keep the steamer from touching the bottom of the pan. The sides are tall so fill it up! He's also NOT skinny. It STAYS even when empty. Simply the perfect steamer. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. If you cook EVERYTHING - vegetables, dumplings, bread - YOU NEED IT - and I rarely say that. I just started using it so time will tell. Despite this, I never hesitate to update my reviews when new information seems useful. It's a bit odd for a green — sort of boring alien (? huh?), but who cares? Not me! I'm in real work.
