I like the light itself. It's bright and people notice it. I've had good luck with previous Niterider flashlights so I really expected this to be a great flashlight. Unfortunately, a flashlight cannot be better than its mounting system when it comes to mounting the flashlight. what the hell were they thinking? Niterider makes a lot of Sentinel and Solas flashlight mounts, and Omega looks like it could fit one of those mounts, but no, it doesn't. As far as I can tell the mount that comes with the Omega is the only option and when I was looking for additional mounts for my other bikes I couldn't find ANY mounts that would work with the Omega on the company's website . even a spare bracket like the one that came with the light. Nothing. When I contacted Niterider for additional mounts, they didn't even bother to reply to my email. Of course, I can always exchange the original bracket for another bike if necessary. but why is it needed? Not to mention the strap on the included mount isn't long enough for my TT bike's aero seatpost. Anyone who makes the design decision to forgo the many mounting options for Sentinel lights should be ashamed of the decision. And Niterider still needs to make some mounting options. I will keep the flashlight as the packaging was lost before I realized I couldn't use it on all my bikes. but I will never think Niterider exactly like that again in the future. Update: After a few months of use, I still like the light. if it works. and the mount is still terrible but had a problem with the light. Sometimes when I plug it in to charge it doesn't charge. I've also noticed that the Omega's battery drains in just a few days. . The second time I contacted Niterider I was told that they do not manufacture or sell any other Omega mounts. You will receive the one that came with the light and if it breaks the Niterider will replace it. If you have an aero seatpost, you're out of luck.
