I'm impressed. I have type 4B low porosity hair. My hair takes a long time to dry even when wet. I was able to blow dry my hair in record time with this hair dryer. It doesn't pinch directly, but it's just enough that I can pin my hair in place with little effort. The dryer has two settings and a fan. The attachments fit well, did not fall off and worked perfectly. The dryer is a bit heavy, but that's not too much of an issue considering my drying time has been cut in half. Overall I'm old and would recommend it to others with type 4 hair.
