Like other commenters, this cable modem and router is rubbish. We have some devices that can connect to the wireless network with no problem, but none of our Android phones can ever establish a persistent connection. They connect and disconnect after a few seconds. Sometimes they connect but after a few minutes there is no internet although they are still connected. The Xbox will connect just fine, and the Google Home, Fire TV, and Alexa Echo all seem to connect just fine, but even those have occasional connection or internet issues. I have a Windows 10 laptop that connects fine, but two other Windows 10 computers cannot connect at all. This is very frustrating. I called Linksys and while the support rep was helpful, nothing they recommended worked. As others have noted, the vendor is pointing the finger at Xfinity for potential firmware updates, but Xfinity has nothing. I will never buy a Linksys or Belkin product again. It was a very expensive paperweight (I've waited too long to set it up and I can't even return it now). Please do not waste your money or time with this junk or anything else that Linksys sells. :(
