Review on πŸ“± VTech Baby Phone with Touch-Swipe Technology by Justin Reedy

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good idea, but difficult to manipulate!

I only gave that three stars because at first I really thought it was a swipe phone that your kid can swipe through different screens because it says it's a touch phone toy. However, the child cannot swipe the screen to go to the second screen. There are only two screams and the way the kid has to get to each of them is I think you would call it a plastic switch that the kid has to push back and forth to get to and from the two screens to get. I thought it's not very expensive but it's very hard for my baby to flick that switch to go to another screen and he says it's between 6 and 36 months. My daughter is 11 months old and has trouble moving the toggle switch back and forth. Also, the touchscreen itself is quite shaky, for example when you press the home button, sometimes another button appears instead of the home button. I bought this for my daughter because she wants to play with my phone all the time and she knows how to swipe to unlock it and I'm worried that she will delete her photos or something important so I bought it for her . So I thought as soon as I give it to her she will like it but she didn't like it at all. I think the reason she didn't like it at all was because she's too difficult to manipulate. As said, it's very difficult to toggle between the two screens and the touchscreen itself, you have to press really hard for it to work. I hope when my daughter gets older she likes it more because I noticed when I bought her toy before she wasn't interested but as she got older she started to be interested. I will update this review if my daughter likes it and she can manipulate when she is a bit older but she is almost a year old and I think she can manipulate it but it's even a bit difficult for me. I will add a video showing how difficult it is for me to switch and operate the toy. I think this story is probably better for older kids, definitely not 6 months old or in my case almost a year old lol.
