This will be my first season growing cherry tomatoes as well as my first season using grow bags. I ordered the 5 gallon version, hoping they would be about the right size. I think they will be perfect -- small & light enough to move around if needed. The fabric feels sturdy and the handles are anchored securely. The upper rim is reinforced. I'm not ready to plant yet, but I did want to try out one of the bags, so I filled it with soil. There were no problems with either the strength of the fabric or the handles when I tried picking it up and carrying it around before and after 'watering'. I added about a quart of water to see how heavy the bag would be as well as how long it would take the soil to dry out. It does seem as if I will need to water at least every other day.I'm happy to have found these grow bags -- they are more economical than most containers and are easily portable. They are well made and seem durable enough to last through several seasons & the current price of $16.99 for a set of six is very reasonable.
