Extension with multiple attachment options

This is one of the very few extensions with four '+' shaped attachment inserts on the back. This means that this extension can be mounted (on screws or nails): vertically or horizontally, with the extension protruding in any desired direction: up, down, left or right. (If someone attaches the power strip there with tape or Velcro, you don't care about those mounting inserts.) But for those of us who use screws or nails to optimally place or position the power strip on the walls, this is important. It was very important to me that I get an extension cord that can be mounted vertically with the power cord down. See the attached picture of this extension cord mounted vertically with the power cord down. It hangs on the wall between my bed and the nightstand. No, I have not used the USB power connectors from Power Strips. I have enough power adapters connected to power many of my Apple devices. I have no problems with this power supply. Yes, the spacing along the center bar doesn't allow for large PSUs to be placed close together, but there are 6 widely spaced sockets around the perimeter, that's enough for me. Also, proper spacing for more than six large plugs would make this extension very large.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Useless features
