Repaint required good for me
Fire pit is is ok for what it is. The only thing I didn't like about is that once you build a fire in it, it burns off the so call paint and started to rust the first day of use. Repainted with high temperature paint with a semi gloss and works great.

- The steel material can become very hot, making it a potential hazard for children and pets.
