Bought to raise my Yakima Skybox 18. Installation was pretty easy. Haven't found any instructions. The hardware appears to be of excellent quality. Based on my layout I flipped a few things so I can pull in the other direction. I also attached a pull rope to the winch to raise it and released the brake lever. I got a different pulley from McMasterCarr so I twist the cable 90 and connect it to the winch. I had a hard time getting the crate on the floor and aligning the straps. I think this is mostly related to my specific garage geometry and my add-ons. I have a 10 foot ceiling and bought a 7802 (10 foot) and I have enough cable. I just think the rollers are too close so they hit the ground before the straps go down. It really wouldn't go down without weight. So I built a small frame using a couple of eyebolts to hold the box and lift it evenly. Works like clockwork. The ropes seem to be holding up well, not creeping, and they haven't fallen on the wagon yet. Pretty happy. As an aside, not a boast, I'm a mechanical engineer so I didn't really mind the installation, instructions, knots and other complaints I've seen in other reviews. As I said, I just needed the hardware so I could adjust the dimensions and fit my garage.
