I bought this kit because I wanted to start detailing as a new hobby. Overall I am very happy with what I received. Some products in this set are more useful than others. However, my jeep looked fantastic. To mention a few points I learned that might help someone like me. I bought a Woolly Mammoth microfiber drying towel, also made by Chemical Guys. Seriously, if you buy one, make sure you wash this towel before you use it. I didn't, and my jeep was left with fluff. Even if you dry first with a leaf blower or similar, only do this on one side of the car and then follow the blower with a drying cloth. First I decided to dry the whole car with a hair dryer and the water dried so quickly before I could towel dry and my jeep was left with water stains. I grouped them together as they both did the job they were meant to do. Foam Blaster 6 Foam Wash Gun - I personally really liked this article. It definitely created plenty of suds to soak the entire Jeep before using the two-bucket method to complete the wash. Both the nozzle and the flush gun feel solid and well made. I haven't had any problems with leaks. Honeydew Car Wash Soap - I think this was my favorite cleanser in this set. Not only did it smell great, it produced a lot of foam. More than any other car wash I've ever used. The end result gave my Jeep a very good shine even before I tried the wax. Buy again? Butter Wet Wax - My first impression of this wax is good. I applied it to my jeep before wiping it off. Both applying and removing the product was very easy. Make sure you give it enough time to dry. It definitely left a great wet shine on my Jeep. I've seen reviews that this wax didn't hold on to her color very long. So let's see how well it holds up. Buy again? May be. There are sure to be better products out there for the same price. Diablo Gel Wheel & Rim Cleaner - I used this product as directed. My tires and rims definitely shined. However, I can't say I wouldn't get the same result by just cleaning them with regular soap. Buy again? Probably no. Personally, I really liked the Poorboys tire and rim cleaner. Silk Shine Sprayable Dressing - I only used this product on my tires as I don't like the interior of my jeep to "shine" like many of these products do. I have to say he did a great job with my tires. I applied one coat to each tire, after 24 hours they still shine like I just applied them. Buy again? Yes. Premium microfiber chenille wash mitt with no scratches: straight this time. The mitten arrived undamaged and serves its purpose as described. Buy again? Probably not as there are identical products at a lower price. The Signature Series glass cleaner is my least favorite included product. I used one of the included microfiber cloths to wipe this product off the windows. Unfortunately, this product leaves streaks on my windows. Buy again? No. 3 Pack - Workhorse Blue Professional Microfiber Towel - Straight On. All 3 arrived undamaged and did their job as described. Buy again? Probably not as there are cheaper alternatives that perform the same functions. Easy Grip Soft Hex-Logic Applicator Pad - It arrived intact. It honestly did a good job, but it's just a cheap foam applicator. Buy again? no There are better tire shine applicators out there. Short handled body and round brush - love this brush. I feel like it did a good job kicking mud off my tires and held up well when I cleaned. Buy again? Probably.
