Came with an installation disk but my computer doesn't have a CD drive. I went to their website and downloaded a program to use the scanner, which took a very long time. Then when it was installed and ready to go. It was very difficult to align the scanner (it's just a camera with LED light), the contours on the pad aren't even accurate. Next thing the light will do is the document/image won't show part of it because the light is reflecting off something shiny, even the lowest settings didn't help. The program itself was very difficult to use, every tiny detail had to be corrected and part of the OCR program could never recognize the text of the 15 things scanned. My phone can work better than this thing.
