Exceptional tester suitable for network and cable tester

If for any reason you need to test network cables, this tester is a very good investment! We have installed a network cable on two floors of our house. We bought cables and pass-through connectors in bulk and laid our own cable routes. We quickly learned the benefits of pass-through connectors and a good crimping tool (Klein: https://www.amazon.com/Pass-Thru-Reliable-Klein-Tools-VDV226-110/dp/B076MGPQZQ/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=cat6 +Crimper&qid=1577109276&sr=8-4). There is no substitute for having the right tool for the job. On several occasions, we dropped both parts of the tester down a flight of stairs from 5 feet or more. It didn't affect their performance. They don't claim it's "durable," but it has withstood our neglect very well. We found it very useful that the remote unit could be easily disconnected, allowing us to test cable transitions from one room to another very easily. Of course, if you're testing an uninstalled cable where both ends are easily accessible, the tester will also work fine. The switch runs tests at two different speeds. If the high speed gets a little faster, you can slow it down to better observe the corresponding indicators lighting up during the test. It's simple, works exactly as it should, and is built to last. I would buy another one or recommend it to anyone who needs to test network cables. It is an essential tool in our tool bags!
