I have loved EOS for years so I decided to try this toning balm this time. I wanted a "cold" color instead of a warm one since I'm winter and warm tones look terrible on my skin. Feels nice, smooth and creamy like the original EOS bullets. The interesting thing about this tinted balm is that the color intensifies with each application on the lips. Merlot is also quite dark, so if you don't want to look like a crazy lady in the house (no makeup, but with something like lipstick), maybe go for a colorless EOS or use it sparingly. Looks great instead of the usual full face lipstick. I'll try one of the other cool colors next time.
